Benefits To
Water Districts

By working with Polaris, irrigation districts can significantly lower energy costs through demand response programs, which reduce power usage during peak demand periods. These districts also receive financial incentives for supporting grid reliability, providing a direct source of revenue while optimizing energy efficiency. Our automated solutions enable districts to save on operational costs without compromising the quality of water services provided to their communities.

How We Work With Water Districts

The Polaris Process

Polaris Energy Services partners with water districts to evaluate their energy use and operational requirements to fit the right utility incentives and programs to maximize financial and operational benefit. Once the optimal plan is agreed, Polaris manages the entire process end-to-end: from application, installation of automation hardware, enrollment, monitoring, and cash payments to our customers. In short, we use data to enroll customers in programs that will help them make more money- without risking their operation.

“If we can save even 10-20%, that’s huge.”

Patrick Pinnard, Terranova Ranch

"Our irrigation guys were actually pretty skeptical at first, but we probably saved 30-40% on labor."
